My Prayer
As I looked up to the Heavens, and started out my day
I felt his presence in my heart as I knelt down to pray
I want to be more faithful Lord, and walk a life thats true
May I help in some small way to lead the lost to you
I want to be your servant Lord, I'll always worship you
Help me to walk the narrow way, as you would have me do
We all need molded in your will, so the lost can see
That broken pieces of our lives are only fixed by thee
There are many things as times go by, that we can't understand
I only know, that God knows best, our future He has planned
So mold my life, this piece of clay, as you would have me be
and one day up in Heaven Lord, I know I'll live with thee

Jesus The Captain
When I looked out across the deep dark sea
I saw a ship that came for me
When the Captain spoke, I had no fear
As he said my child, I'm always near
Then I touched His nail scarred hand and knew
That Jesus my Captain would carry me through
He is my light, in the darkest night
Though the storm clouds may roll
Our God will make it all right
God our Savior will be our light
In heaven above, where there is no night
There will bo no sickness, death, or tears
We shall live there with Jesus, and have no fears
There is coming a day when we all get on board
Will your Captian be Jesus your Savior and Lord
Or will the boatman have to say
I'm sorry friend, but you have lost your way
When He opened the book, I saw my name
I knelt and wept, as I praised my King
Many loved ones, friends, and angels too
Were praising Our Savior, because he brought us through

The Cross Said It All
'I think of our Lord, as He walked Calvary's Hill
with a cross that was heavy to bear
Yet He willingly died with the love for us all
That's how much He loved us and cared
He was layed in a tomb
but death could not hold Him
Angels rolled back the stone from the door
Then Jesus ascended to the throne up on high
Our Savior, Redeemer, Our Lord
Jesus promised when he ascended on High
I'll come back for the saved and redeemed
Then the graves shall burst open and Saints will arise
We shall live with our Lord and our King
Be ready to meet Him when God shall descend
To be gathered in the clouds in the sky
We'll dwell there with Jesus, our lord our King
where forever we'll praise Him on high

Storm Clouds Rolled Away
When we are down in sorrow
and feel that we can't pray
God takes us gently by the hand
and the storm clouds roll away
God promised peace in the time of storm
Our Lord knows every day
His grace is sufficient, of this I'm sure
I'll follow you, come what may
When in valleys deep, I stumble
and it seems I can't go through
then your there and lift me up
as you promised you would do
Give me peace and strength in the time of storm
and when I kneel to pray
I know you hear and I know you care
then the storm clouds roll away

How To Know God
To know God as our Savior
is simply when you pray
ask God to forgive your every sin
He won't turn you away
He knows each thought within your heart
He hears you when you pray
There's things in life, we can't understand
We know that Jesus died for all
You know He's your heavenly Father
He forgives your sin and hears you when you call
Believe in God with all your heart
He won't turn you away
There comes sweet peace down in your heart
He molded you, the clay
Believe Him with a child like faith
and when our life is over
We'll live with Him and never die
on heavens golden shore

He Arose
It was on Easter morning, our Savior arose
Triumphant over death and the grave
The stone had been sealed, but the angel appeared
and rolled the stone away from the grave
Jesus told them on the third day He would arise
But this, they could not comprehend
All they could see, was the one they loved
on the cross dying to save us from sin
The woman outside, stood there weeping
Then the angel said, please don't fear
The one you were looking to see inside
He's arisen and He's not here
Go quickly and tell the desciples
They should travel to Galliee
When they have taken this journey
There is where Jesus our Savior will be
As I read the scriptures, I'm happy to say
Jesus lives in my heart every day
One day He will come and gather us home
We can praise Him forever, around the great throne!!

Every Step Along Life's Way
He walks beside us through the valley as He promised in His word.
There's never a heartache or a prayer He hasn't heard.
I'm the sheep, He's my shepherd and I'll praise Him every day,
and each step I'll follow Jesus, He's my life the joy, the way.
How I'll love Him and I'll praise Him, and I'll tell it ore and ore.
He's the precious King, Messiah.
He's my savior, He's my Lord.
His spirit lives within us, as we live from day to day.
I just want to love and praise Him every stop along life's way.
There's a mansion up in heaven, and my Lord has promised me.
I could live with Him forever, throughout all eternity.
I want to tell my friends and loved ones as I journey on my way.
My Jesus soon is coming back, be ready for that day.

Anchored In Jesus
For I'm anchored in our Jesus.
Where heartaches are passed.
Till I reach heavens portals.
Where my anchor is cast.
Up there is no sorrow,
but joy, peace and love.
Where we'll dwell with our Savior.
In the heavens up above.
And sometimes we question,
And just can't understand.
But by faith Lord I'm trusing,
As I hold to your hand.
Give me strength blessed Jesus,
And when I feel I can't stand.
I know You art beside me
And the You're in command.
The Precious Bible
The precious old Bible has shown me the way.
It's a road map to heaven, I read it each day.
The harvest is ripe, but the labors are few.
Lord help me to live and win others for You.
So may are traveling down the highway of despair.
If they'd only read the road map, they would know how much You care.
How You gave Your life on Calvary, for a sinner such as I.
Yes that's how much You love us, that You suffered bled and died.
You said to go out in the highways and hedges of sin.
Find the lost and struggling, and help bring them in.
Tell them how Jesus loves them, He will save them from sin.
And walk the stright and narrow, till you reach your journeys end.
God Forgives And Forgets
I was reading my Bible, then I knelt in prayer.
I prayed God give me words, to help someone somewhere.
You may feel lost and lonely, but God is always there.
He knows when we are hurting, and He does answer prayer.
I think of how He loves us. When He gave His life for all.
He is the truth, the life, and the way, without Him I would fall.
When we ask forgiveness for all the sins we have done.
He hears our prayers, and we are His He forgives them, everyone.
I think of loved ones and of friends, who do not know the way.
They have never given God a thought.
And the awful price he paid.
When we ask forgiveness for our sins, we know we've found the way.
Let's work and pray to win the lost, and we'll meet God someday.
